Fucking rent-a-cops!

Posted Saturday, June 2, 2001 by METALIKAT
Why the fuck do they have to be such assholes?
Incase you haven't heard, I was given a $100.00 fine for SMOKING! AND IT WASN'T EVEN FUCKING LIT! (thats 100 bucks AMERICAN, btw!)

How far down the tubes must this country slide before it realizes that you can't please everyone? It is a bigger fine to SMOKE than to DRINK! Alcohol, the #1 killer of US highschoolers on Prom night! The most widely available drug on the planet (and yes, it IS a drug, IMO). Its only $25.00 to get caught drinking, but to have a receintly unlit cigar in your hands? OHHH NO! Theres 100 clams, fork it over JR.

Theres another fucking thing thats pissing me off, the agism in this country is so off the scale its not even funny. Just a little while ago, ISJX_CupOTina was pulled over and given a ticket by NJ State Troopers for driving 5 FUCKING MILES OVER THE SPEED LIMIT. If that wasn't enough, the highway was COMPLETELY FUCKING EMPTY!

Maybe its time that the politicians in this country took their heads out of their asses, and started listening to the large part of the population that will be voting for their sorry asses soon instead of listening to their own weasily little yes-men and doing whatever the popular polls from the richass yuppie neighborhoods says.

Of course this is all just my opinion, but then again, who am I except me?

Goddamn kids...

Posted Monday, March 5, 2001 by METALIKAT
I know it sounds funny coming from a 17 year old, but kids these days have no fucking self control. You would have thought that these kids learned something after Colerado, or all those other school shootings. But no, today, at about 9:45 (12:45, my time - 5:45 GMT)some smartass 9th grader who couldn't handle the preassure of High School decided that instead of bucking up and taking it like all the other kids, to let out his aggression in the worst possible way, violently.

I want to know two things, at this point: where the kids get the guns, and why they think that using them will make things better.

Getting guns can be easy, especialy living in the city. I know several places, or people that I can goto right now, and pay $50.00 for a nice 9mm with two mags and a thousand rounds, but I don't go. Why? Because nothing good can come from it. I know several people, friends of mine, and not friends of mine, that have been on the wrong end of a gun. Some lived, some didn't, but the fact remains that none of them were ever the same.

The second thing that I wanted to know, where in the hell do these kids get the idea that going out and shooting everyone will make it better? I have had some tremendous strains put on me in my life, and right now is no different, with 2 jobs, full time school (and please, don't any of you tell me that completing 11th grade in the next 4 months will be easy, because I know damned well that it won't be). This isn't even to mention my girlfriend, whom I am trying to give the most time of all my commitments to, but seem to be failing to. I have been to every school you guys can imagine, from the Ghetto of South Philadelphia, to the nice, upper-class peace of a private, West-Chester Catholic High School, a Center City Catholic gradeschool of the finest quality, a Center City Public gradeschool of the worse quality, an Alternative School in the suburbs of central Pennsylvania, and an average Public School in a small, semi-suburb of Philadelphia, and this isn't even to mention the accelerated school that I am now attending, in hopes of completing my Senior year only a half a year behind my original classmates.

I don't claim to have seen everything, I wouldn't dare. I am simply stating that I have seen alot more than most kids that I know have, at least of the schooling choices available in this country. Let me just say this, the education system in this country is double-fucked, and there is nothing we can do about that. That is why it is up to not only us, the students of this fucked up educational system, but also to the parents of the students of this fucked up educational system to change things.

For one thing, alot of the kids in this country have no idea of dicipline. I don't know about any of you, but I got smacked when I got out of line, and, quite frankly, I don't think that I turned out half bad. People are quick to point fingers, and I've seen that the quickest to assign blame, are the ones who should be bearing it themselves! Its not the media's fualt, or TVs, nor the Movies fualt that kids are getting out of control. No, my friends, the fualt lies in the people who should be teaching their kids right from wrong, good from bad, nice from naughty. The blame lies in those who are trying to put the blame on the innocent, the entertainment providers, the information suppliers. The blame lies, ladies and gentlemen, in the very parents of the kids who are out of control.

Frightening, I know, that a parent would actualy take responsibility. Even more frightening than that, is the fact that they aren't, and it is tearing this country apart.

My parents did a damned good job, much better a job than I ever give them credit for, and much more than I probably will until I outgrow this damned rebelousness that plagues the years of all teenagers. I have seen much more violence and gore and filth in my life than most of those damned suburban kids out west have, but do you see me going around, shooting up people because they look at me wrong? NO! Why not? Because my parents took the time, the painstaking time to teach me that my actions have reprecussions, and now, for every action I take in my teenage years, when my parents aren't there to hold my hand anymore, I think of what the reprecussions from my actions might be.

I'm not saying I'm perfect. God know, in fact, I happen to think that I'm one of the most fucked up people that I know.

And yet, I still have no blood on my hands...

Have A Nice Day!

Tattos and politics...

Welcome to the new & improved Editorials page!

Here is your introductary Editorial...

I personally have no qualms with tattos, in fact, I await the day when I have the money to get my own. What I don't understand is why the government places such strong restrictions on things such as body peircings and tattos, when US Law states that a 13 year old is capable of making a decision that effects their own life in a major way.

My belief is that there are too many politicians out there who are worried about the anal-retentive parents out there who treat their 15 and 16 year olds like the kids of 8 that they used to be. Politicians are afraid. They are afraid of pissing off all the suburban, middle-class parents that are trying to live through their kids and are too afraid to change, too caught up in their own idea of how the world should conform to their will and their own desire to repress their chi8ldren and suffocate their understanding of the world and shape it into a world where nothing can harm their child. Politicians are too afraid of people and parents like that to change anything, and the damage that they are causing by not acting will take this country years to correct, if it isn't this countries undoing first...

Have A Nice Day!
